Worrying About the Government's Decisions

What do we do if we don’t agree with certain policies passed by our government, or agree with the choices that have been made? I certainly don't have all the answers to that question... I suppose it often depends on the severity of the situation. But one thing we can do, is rest in the sovereignty of our God:

The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases. -Proverbs 21:1
